Terms of Service
Last updated 22 October 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and ZerodayLearn (“ZerodayLearn”, “we”, “us”). They govern your access to and use of the ZerodayLearn platform — our website, hands-on labs, Academy, certificates and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.What ZerodayLearn is
ZerodayLearn is an educational platform for learning web and application security. It gives you guided, hands-on labs built on deliberately vulnerable applications that run in isolated sandboxes, an Academy of written lessons, and verifiable certificates when you complete a track.
The Service exists to teach you how to find and fix security weaknesses so you can defend and build safer systems. It is a training environment only. It is not a tool for attacking real systems, not a penetration-testing service, and not a substitute for professional security advice about your own production systems.
2.Acceptable use
The lab targets on ZerodayLearn are intentionally vulnerable. The skills you practise here are powerful and, used in the wrong place, illegal. You may use these techniques only inside the labs we provide to you.
- Only attack the labs inside ZerodayLearn. Never use anything you learn here against any system, network, account or device you do not own or do not have explicit, written permission to test. Doing so may be a criminal offence — for example under the Information Technology Act, 2000 in India, or equivalent computer-misuse laws elsewhere.
- Do not attempt to break out of a lab sandbox, attack the ZerodayLearn platform itself or its infrastructure, or reach another learner’s lab instance, account or data.
- Do not use the Service to store or transmit real personal data, live credentials, malware intended for real-world use, or confidential information belonging to any organisation.
- Do not share, resell or transfer your account, scrape or bulk-download content, or circumvent access controls, rate limits or usage restrictions.
Our full rules are set out in the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Everything you do in the labs is logged for training and security purposes. We may suspend or close any account that breaches these rules, and we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
3.Accounts & eligibility
Registration is open, using your email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly at support@zerodaylearn.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must be at least 18 years old to buy a paid subscription. If you are between 16 and 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use. The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly allow them to register. One account is for one person; accounts are not shared.
4.Subscriptions, billing & payments
Parts of the Service are free. Others require a paid subscription, billed monthly (or for any other period shown at checkout) in the currency displayed at the time of purchase. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the Service before you pay, and include applicable taxes where we are required to state them.
- Payments. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number; the processor handles card data directly. See our Privacy Policy for how payment metadata is handled.
- Auto-renewal. Unless stated otherwise, a subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will charge your chosen payment method for each renewal.
- Cancellation & refunds. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, create a refund. Refund eligibility is explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Price changes. We may change prices. If a change affects your renewal, we will give you reasonable notice beforehand so you can decide whether to continue.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid access until payment succeeds.
5.Your conduct
In addition to the acceptable-use rules above, you agree not to misuse the Service: no interfering with or overloading our systems, no reverse-engineering except where the law expressly permits it, no automated access or scraping without our written permission, no uploading unlawful or infringing material, and nothing that harasses other users or our staff. You are responsible for the security and legality of the environment from which you access the Service.
6.Intellectual property
The Service — including the labs, lab challenges, Academy lessons, write-ups, solutions, text, graphics, logos and software — is owned by ZerodayLearn or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
While your subscription is active and in good standing, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your own learning. You do not own the content, and this licence does not transfer any ownership to you. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, sell, sublicense, publicly post, or create derivative works from our content, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. You keep ownership of anything original you create yourself, such as your own notes.
7.Certificates
When you complete qualifying training, we may issue a verifiable certificate. A certificate records that you completed specific ZerodayLearn training at a point in time. It is not a professional licence, an industry accreditation, or a guarantee of any skill level, outcome or employment. You must not alter a certificate or misrepresent what it certifies. We may revoke a certificate issued in error or obtained through a breach of these Terms.
8.Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular learning or career outcome will result from using it. The labs are deliberately insecure by design; you use the techniques you learn entirely at your own responsibility and risk.
9.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZerodayLearn and its people will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in that period or ₹5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10.Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably need to protect the Service or other users — in serious cases immediately, and otherwise with reasonable notice. On termination, your licence to use the content ends and your labs stop. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) continue to apply. Refunds on termination are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
11.Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence, you and we agree that the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service. We would always prefer to resolve a problem directly — please contact us first.
12.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or an in-product notice before the change takes effect. If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
